LED Semi-Recessed Spotlight LECA 1.0

The LED semi-recessed spotlight LECA 1.0 by Wever & Ducré is a super compact spherical spotlight for dry indoor areas. With a diameter of 3.2 cm and a power consumption of 6W, it offers an elegant lighting solution for cavity ceilings, hollow walls, or furniture.

Design and Construction

This spotlight has been awarded the reddot Design Award 2024 and impresses with its high-quality construction made of powder-coated aluminum die-cast. The durable and efficient COB LEDs provide very good color reproduction with a CRi value of over 90Ra and a color rendering index of 1A.

Light Direction and Installation

The LECA 1.0 features a tiltable and nearly fully rotatable head, allowing for optimal alignment of the light cone. For enhanced light direction, an optional honeycomb filter attachment can be used. Installation is done using wire springs or clip springs, ideal for cavity surfaces with a cutout of 4.0 cm to 4.1 cm and a material thickness of 0.4 cm to 2.6 cm.

Technical Details

The spotlight has a beam angle of 31°, a color temperature of 2700K, and a luminous flux of 585lm. With an operating voltage of 18V and an energy consumption of 6kWh/1,000h, it achieves energy efficiency class D. The LED semi-recessed spotlight LECA 1.0 is IP20 protected and has protection class 3.
